The Hammer Lex grew out of a decade of building and operating teams at Tateeda — refined against the real problems of tracking time, billing fairly, and knowing what's profitable.

Our story — built because the tools fell short

Before The Hammer Lex was a product, it was an internal system. We needed to manage timekeepers across many matters, bill multiple rate structures accurately, and see profitability without waiting for month-end reconciliation. The market's tools each solved a slice — none solved the whole.

So we built one platform that connects clients, work, and money. Today we've reshaped it for law firms: matters instead of generic projects, legal billing models, and client transparency built in.

It's backed by Tateeda, a custom software company — which means The Hammer Lex keeps evolving, and bespoke integrations are always on the table.
