Terms of Service
Terms governing your access to and use of The Hammer Lex.
Last updated: June 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and The Hammer Lex LLC (“The Hammer Lex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing hammerlex.com or using our applications, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts and authorized use
You must provide accurate account information, safeguard your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and may use the Services only in compliance with applicable law and your organization’s policies.
2. Customer data
You retain ownership of data submitted to the Services. You authorize us to host, process, transmit, and back up that data as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit the data.
3. Confidentiality and security
Each party will protect the other party’s confidential information using reasonable care and use it only to perform obligations under these Terms. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Fees, subscriptions, and taxes
Paid plans, billing periods, usage limits, and fees are specified at checkout or in an applicable order form. Fees are charged using the payment method on file. You are responsible for applicable taxes other than taxes based on our net income.
5. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel as described in your account or order form. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically create a refund. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy and any applicable order form.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, reverse engineer the Services except where applicable law expressly permits it, or use the Services to violate another person’s rights.
7. Third-party services
The Services may interoperate with third-party products. Those products are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify or discontinue features and may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or prevention of harm. We will provide notice of material changes when reasonably practicable.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are software tools and do not provide legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated in an applicable written agreement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data. Any additional liability terms in an applicable signed order form control if they conflict with this section.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach, nonpayment, unlawful use, or a security risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Governing terms
An applicable signed order form, data processing agreement, or other written agreement may supplement these Terms. If there is a conflict, the signed agreement controls. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
