The Hammer Lex is a web-based practice management platform for small and mid-sized law firms, operated by The Hammer Lex LLC. It brings client intake, conflict checks, matters, deadlines, timekeeping, billing, trust accounting, documents, a client portal, and matter-level profitability reporting into one workspace.

Why we ask to connect your calendar

The platform offers an optional integration with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. When a user chooses to connect one, we read the events on that account's primary calendar so meetings can be turned into suggested time entries, and we write matter deadlines back to that calendar so they appear alongside the user's other commitments. We request the narrowest permission each provider offers for this, we never access other calendars or their sharing settings, and we do not use this data for advertising or to train AI models. The connection is off by default, is made by the individual user, and can be disconnected at any time.
